A Tour in KL.

Greetings! It's been a long time since I've updated this blog with some pictures and events in my life. So here's an update.

You know when you are in the car, driving pass Kuala Lumpur, the heart of Malaysia, you'll see tourist walking at the streets and never take notice of them? That's what I do. But today, I was the tourist walking in the streets of KL.

Phish and I decided to go to Petaling Street to snap some pictures for her Photography assignment. So we took the U63 bus to Pasar Seni and when we reached, we took out our DSLR camera. Well, mine was borrowed so, thank you Nic for lending me your DSLR!! =D

Immediately after putting the DSLR camera strap around our neck and let the camera dangle to our stomachs, we looked like tourist. I'm serious.

Eventually, we left the place after walking around for 10 minutes. There was nothing there except shops and more shops. So we decided to walk around KL to look for a few picture to snap for Phish's assignment. Our legs set out on a journey that we did not expect.

We took a break at McDonalds and I bought Milo McFlurry! It's yummy and ADDICTIVE!! And there, we saw a bunch of Japanese boys. They are like, manga came to real life boys. The square faced with specs, the pretty boys with boots and tight, sexy shirts and handsome hunks. I couldn't stop staring at them. We left before I nosebleed. xD

We started walking the streets of KL and then as we cross the road, we notice an outstanding church. So we decided to go there. As we were walking towards that church (didn't ask for direction), Phish saw some flowers.

Random flower. xD

Then we asked a guard from this hotel for direction after noticing we're not going any nearer to the church. I think we didn't understand what he had said but we moved on anyhow. We walked through a back lane and snapped a few pictures.

The bicycle was a random thing. It looks old so i edited it to look even older. Pardon me for playing with it on photoshop. xD

So we moved on and finally reached the church.

The guard from the church asked us where are we from.

Guard : Are you from Japan or Korea?
Us  : Uhhhhh
Guard : Are you Japanese, Chinese or Korean?
Us : Chinese
Guard : OHHH!! So you are from China. Ok, where do you want to go? I shall give u direction.
Us : Oh, ok. (listen)

We didn't tell him that we were local. So the conclusion is, as long as you are holding a camera, you are a tourist of KL. xD Anyway, after the stop at the random church, we moved on and walked to Pavilion. That journey was tiring. We kept walking and walking until our legs started to hurt. After the intensifying walk, we reached the place.

Fountain outside the mall
So we went inside and our first stop was the food court. Both of us were hungry after the walk. After that, we moved to Times Bookstore just for fun.

1001 must hear recordings

DSLR, Nikon
We walked around more and spam pictures around...

Window of a restaurant.

Phish's bag, abandon.

Christmas decoration.

Lamp of a random restaurant.
Finally, we were exhausted and took the train home. The LRT was fine but the KTM was jam pack! My legs hurts but it was worth it. We now experienced what the tourists in KL are like. xD

Picture of me at the stairs of Pavilion. Taken by Phish. =D

That's all!! Peace out!

Adam Lambert's Glam Nation Tour

Yes!!! HOORAY!! Adam Lambert is coming to Malaysia! His "Glam Nation Tour" in Malaysia is a dream come true to me and I really REALLY hope I'll win the tickets to his concert. The concert is happening on the 14th of October 2010 at Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil. DiGi is giving out awesome tickets for free. All we got to do is write a blog post telling them "what you love about Adam Lambert and why should you win the exclusive tickets from DiGi." For more info, please click here.

So, what is it that I love about Adam Lambert? Well, the typical girls' answers that are usually given are :
1. He's sexy.
2. He's awesome.
3. He's handsome.

And they are all TRUE! But the real thing that I love about him is his awesome voice. When I first heard him sing in American Idol 8, I was captivated by his high pitched singing. It was amazing and during the finale, his version of No Boundaries made me certain that he was the winner. But unfortunately, Kris Allen won instead but nevertheless, Adam Lambert showed the world that he is a great singer and would one day be a legend. Another thing that I love about Adam is his sexy eyes. He can really captivate someone with his eyes as seen in his music videos, especially in his video "For Your Entertainment". That one got me drooling. His voice can really pull my soul and really affect my feelings whenever I listen to his songs.

Now, why should I win those exclusive DiGi Zone tickets worth RM 298? Basically I am really IN LOVE with his voice and I would really want to hear it live and it is a rare chance to catch him live in Malaysia. Who knows when will he come again? I want to see him perform with my own eyes and it will be a once in a life time experience. He is a great performer and all these while I am only able to see him sing and perform on TV. I have never been to a concert before. There were many artist who came to Malaysia before but I have never had the urge to go to their concert but Adam Lambert's concert is one concert that I really want to go because unlike others, Adam's performances had been dramatic and phenomenal, creative, innovative, powerful and different from other singers. It is the ONE concert that I can NEVER miss.

I really hope I can win the tickets. Thank you DiGi and Nuffnang for giving out these awesome tickets! =D

Porridge and Starbucks

I know it has been a LONG time since I've updated. But here's an update from the "scene of the crime" itself. I am currently stuck in Starbucks so I decided to update a little.

Me and Phish met up after 2 weeks of not seeing each other. We went to Empire Gallery in Subang Jaya just to chill out. Well, I chilled, she didn't. She brought her homework and drew while I transferred some anime into her external hard disk.

So hardworking~

Anyway, we didn't start our trip in Starbucks. We ate at some porridge shop in Empire. It was yummy and cheap. =D

Porridge and yao tiao = RM3.90

Yummy right? Here's the menu.

Kindly click to enlarge the picture. =)

Phish just hadda stack the bowls up. xD

Spiral slide.

Cool right? We saw it while walking to Starbucks. It's some kind of slide thingy but it was closed. =( If it wasn't, me and Phish would be sliding our asses from the 4th floor to down.

Spiral slide~

Ipanema (choco cake) from Starbucks = RM8.80
We bought just that and sat in Starbuck for 2 hours. Hey, can't complain when there is free wifi and comfy sofa. xD

That's all folks! =D

Mummy's Early B'day Celebration!

Yes, it's my dearest mama's birthday celebration with food!! I should really make this a food blog instead of just a normal blog. There is just too much food in this blog.

Anyways, it was last Sunday that my Yee Yee decided to have an early birthday celebration for my mum because she couldn't celebrate with her on the actuall day. Reason? Because she will be in Pulau Tioman for holidays during the actual day. We met Yee Yee and the rest of the family in Bukit Tinggi Aeon for lunch after church and headed to Dragon-i (Mummy's choice) =D

We sat down and then looked through the menu. I was actually distracted by my cousin, Rachel so I didn't really pay attention to the name of the food nor its price. =S But it doesn't really matter. What matters are those yummy pictures of FOOD!!

Lemon Barley = RM3
I remembered this because this was a little unusual in the list of drinks. I remember the price as well because I was a little skeptical with the chinese tea price which was RM2. Lemon Barley was just one buck extra and it's yummy. =D

Lemon in the Barley

Mummy's Lai Mien. Tastes like spicy shark fin soup. xD
Papa's Lai Mien with fried pork. =D
Yee Yee and the family ate so it was only us that ordered food. My bro's food was too far away to reach and he started eating before i could snap so minus his dish and here's mine.

Wanna take a peek?
If I'm not mistaken, this is steam rice with pork and potato. =)
After all that food, the waitress cleared up the table and took the cake we bought to the kitchen to open it up. So while waiting for it, we had photo shoot session. =D

My pretty mummy!!
My Yee Yee and youngest cousin, Daniel. =D
Then the cake arrived and photo shoot session 2 took place. =D
