Mummy's Early B'day Celebration!

Yes, it's my dearest mama's birthday celebration with food!! I should really make this a food blog instead of just a normal blog. There is just too much food in this blog.

Anyways, it was last Sunday that my Yee Yee decided to have an early birthday celebration for my mum because she couldn't celebrate with her on the actuall day. Reason? Because she will be in Pulau Tioman for holidays during the actual day. We met Yee Yee and the rest of the family in Bukit Tinggi Aeon for lunch after church and headed to Dragon-i (Mummy's choice) =D

Dragon-i

We sat down and then looked through the menu. I was actually distracted by my cousin, Rachel so I didn't really pay attention to the name of the food nor its price. =S But it doesn't really matter. What matters are those yummy pictures of FOOD!!

Lemon Barley = RM3
I remembered this because this was a little unusual in the list of drinks. I remember the price as well because I was a little skeptical with the chinese tea price which was RM2. Lemon Barley was just one buck extra and it's yummy. =D

Lemon in the Barley

Mummy's Lai Mien. Tastes like spicy shark fin soup. xD
Papa's Lai Mien with fried pork. =D
Yee Yee and the family ate so it was only us that ordered food. My bro's food was too far away to reach and he started eating before i could snap so minus his dish and here's mine.

Wanna take a peek?
Taadaaa~~
If I'm not mistaken, this is steam rice with pork and potato. =)
After all that food, the waitress cleared up the table and took the cake we bought to the kitchen to open it up. So while waiting for it, we had photo shoot session. =D

They are NOT Expensive!!

Tony Roma's. =)
Okay, hold your tongue if you're about to say "This girl is RICH to eat in Tony Roma's", I would like to say that I am NOT rich and to Tony Roma's is NOT expensive.

Ahem, let me explain why it isn't as expensive as some people may think.
Lunch set : Chicken Tenderloin Platter. RM16.90
Grilled Chicken
Potato Soup. =D
Grilled Chicken + Fries + Honey Mustard + Coleslaw!
This set is only RM16.90. Grilled chicky and fries and it comes along with coleslaw and honey mustard (awesome yummy yellow sauce). There is also a bowl of soup of your choice (my choice was potato soup) and a bottomless carbonated drink. The WHOLE thing for RM16.90.

Yes, RM16.90 is still expensive you say. Well, have you tried in Kenny Rogers or Nando's Chicken? Well, their set cost about there as well but lesser stuff to eat or it has become so typical that we don't wanna venture in there anymore.

According to my cousin, Joyce, her philosophy was "Better enjoy these yummy food before we have kids and we don't get to eat them anymore".

These restaurants are labeled expensive because they DO have expensive stuff in there. I swear that I saw a steak that cost RM60++ in the menu. You just have to know what to look for in those restaurants. Even T.G.I Fridays has weekdays lunch sets for RM29.90 and it is enough to feed 2 people.

I'm not saying that you have to spend RM10++ everyday. LOL! Once in a while is enough. =)

Well, that's all for now.

Eating Spreeee

BOOM! xD

Alright folks, grab yer napkin or some tissue cause this post here is gonna cause ya saliva drippin' all ova. That's right folks, it's all about food food and more food. I'm just kidding. I doubt you'll drool. Maybe it'll make you hungry. =)

Went out with Alton and Christine today for lunch in Tropicana Mall and we crashed Ninja Joe for some pork burger. Yes my dear readers, pork burger. =)

Ninja Joe. Everybody loves ninjas! It's true~

Menu
This is the menu. Ya, it's kinda cute and creative way for a menu. Instead of "one burger" they put it as "solo ninja". We ordered the 6 ninja and yes folks, we eat a lot. I'm just joking. 6 ninjas divided to 4 people eating. The burger is actually kinda small which explains the 'ok lah' price of solo ninja. We can choose our own flavors. There are Original, Teriyaki, Black Pepper, Oriental, Sweet and Sour and Spicy.

So we ordered and while waiting, I find that the decoration in the shops are nice. Here's one funny one.

The Gundam looking robot is saying "Me love Ninja" =D
Christine and her friend. I like the "peeping" ninja. xD
 Food arrives!!

6 Ninja = RM23.90 and one shuriken = RM4.90
This is a Shurikan.

I had Sweet & Sour and Teriyaki. =D
Burger
Inside the burger. xD

We ate lunch and then we walked around the mall after that. We stopped by Bad Ass Coffee. Yes, it is called Bad Ass Coffee and can only be found in Tropicana Mall.

Badd Ass Coffee. =)
In caffeine we trust!! WhooHOO!!
Yummy Bad Ass Mocha. RM 13.90 with discount of 20%. Alton had the member card.
Coffee Sweets. Price : FREE. =D
After Bad Ass Coffee, we walked around the mall for another half an hour or so and then we head back to Subang. I had Christine dropped me at Sunway Pyramid and met up with Joyce for some sister bonding!! We went to McDonalds for Joyce to have her "lunch" and she ordered Happy Meal. I've not seen a Happy Meal for a long time now. So it came with a free toy gift. =D

Happy Meal

Happy Meal toy. =D
Then we walked around the mall looking for a new phone for Joyce. Her phone died on her so we went scouting around for prices. Then we got hungry and went to Secret Recipe for TEA!

Joyce had the icantrememberthename "huge chicken curry puff". Price : RM8
I had Strawberry Marshmellow Cheese Cake. RM6.80. It came along with black coffee.

We sat a while after settling the bill and had a camwhore session with the Happy Meal toy that Joyce had earlier. Most of the pictures are with her so gotta wait a while but here's one that I took with my camera.

Joyce's attempt to eat the toy. xD
That's all folks! =D

First Little Step, Movies

Ever since semester break started, I went to watch a few movies that were out during the Summer. First movie that I watched was Inception.
Inception Poster
The whole idea of this movie was just brilliant! I have not seen such a good movie for a long time. Inception brings the idea of manipulating one's mind when it is at its most vulnerable time which is when we are dreaming. Inception is a process to insert an idea to one person through manipulation one's dream. It is a MUST WATCH!! movie. It's graphics are brilliant and i was surprised that it did not come out in 3D version. It would be totally awesome though.

Another movie that I've watched is The Last Airbender.

The Last Airbender Poster
Have you watched Avatar: The Last Airbender on Nickelodeon before? Well, this movie which was directed by M.Night Shyamalan was based on the cartoon series made for kids and aired on Nickelodeon. The movie is about a world that has people who can bend/manipulate elements of their tribe. The four elements are Air, Water, Earth and Fire. The people known as the Waterbenders, Earthbenders, Firebenders, and Airbenders have mastered their native elements. However there is one person that is able to manipulate all elements which is called the Avatar. Aang, a 12 year old boy which was born withing the Airbender tribe was the latest reincarnated Avatar.

Because of his young age, he could not stand to bear the world on his shoulder. He ran away and disappeared for 100 years and when he returned to the world, the Fire Nation was plotting an evil plot to take over the world (every villain's dream). Together with Sokka and Katara, he set out to learn all the other elements he had not learned to defeat the Fire Nation.

Personally I would give it a rating of 4/10. The movie had amazing graphics and scenery but somehow the actors and actresses had not lived up to their true potential of their skills. I don't know about you but I find the casts a little stiff and their dialogue were simple.

That aside, the fun parts were the bending or the manipulation of the elements.

Katara bending water.
Looking forward to watch Salt next and will be looking out for the next Narnia movie! (this one is still far away though).

That's all.. Skipping out. Chaoz!
